I was born several years ago in the booming metropolis of Fort Wayne, Indiana, to aging hippies and ardent Marxists Mike and Sue. After years of being a spectator, I’m delighted to be on the track training with the other riders. The cycling culture at IU is infectious, and it’s impossible not to get excited about participating in what is essentially the epitome of amateur athletics.

I joined Collins’s team a bit late in the game but I’ve nevertheless been met with incredible support and encouragement from my teammates. When I realized I was finally in a position to do Little 5, I knew I wanted to join the Collins team. From what interaction I had had with the women on the team it was readily apparent that this was a tight-knit, supportive community of women who simply love to ride. The Collins ethos is much in line with my own, and joining the team has put me in close contact with a number of talented, driven goofballs whose enthusiasm for cycling is only matched by their enthusiasm for food. Needless to say, we get along well.

I’m currently studying Economics and Math, and after graduation I hope to stop freeloading off my parents and find a respectable job as one of the stars of the latest Real Housewives franchise.

When I’m not cycling, I enjoy sailing, golfing, wearing blazers, reading newspapers, and generally partaking in a multitude of hobbies fitting of a 45-year-old man.
