When I came to Indiana University, I wanted to find my niche where I could be a part of something for the next four years. When I was asked to join Collins Cycling, I knew my search was over. I already have a love for cycling, and being on the team allows me to stay fit and gives me an escape away from campus. Biking outside on the roads is my favorite workout because I get to enjoy the beauty of the landscape that is rural Bloomington. However, I did not realize the best part of joining Collins is the group of girls making up the team and the bonds I have already formed with them.
If you cannot get a hold of me I am usually found exploring the surrounding state parks of Bloomington, getting jiggy at house shows, scuba diving, snowboarding, or doing anything adventure-lovin.
In school, I am majoring in Telecommunications Design & Production. When deciding on a major I wanted to find something that would allow me to be creative, travel and be my own boss. With a continuous interest in films and photography growing up, I realized telecom was the right fit. My dream is to travel the globe and film documentaries as well as ads for events such as cultural festivals. I want to inform, inspire and motivate people for what I am promoting. To provide for that desire, I am minoring in entrepreneurship to get an understanding of how to run my own business selling my own products online while I travel. My goal in life is to be constantly moving and gaining new experiences.
